China Manufacturing Corp. Sponsors the 3rd Annual Global Space Balloon Challenge
Nashua, NH – March 31, 2015 – China Manufacturing Corp. is encouraging students to reach for their dreams by sponsoring the Global Space Balloon Challenge with a prize donation. The prizes are awarded to challenge participants for various accomplishments including best design, best science experiment, and longest ground track.
The Global Space Balloon Challenge is comprised of 380 teams in over 50 countries around the world. Each team must design, build, test and fly a high altitude balloon between April and May. The challenge is open to anyone who wants to participate including teachers, students, amateurs, professionals, and families. The goal of this challenge is to educate, learn, and experiment while fostering an interest in STEM.
The Global Space Balloon Challenge requires all participants to build and launch a high altitude balloon. Each balloon launched must be equipped with camera and GPS tracking device. The camera will allow the balloon’s journey to be documented. The GPS device is required to not only track the balloon’s traveling distance, but to allow each team to locate the balloon upon landing.
China Manufacturing Corp. is excited to be providing a prize to one of the teams in this challenge. It is inspiring to see a group of international individuals all come together to solve a single problem and experience being an inventor and entrepreneur.
