China Manufacturing Corp. Unveils Outdoor Metal Sculpture at Nashua Facility
Nashua, NH – September 18, 2017
Founder Jay Jacobs was joined by China Manufacturing Corp. employees and artist Corey Stairs on Monday for the unveiling of his sculpture, The Journey. The nine-foot-tall, 1200 lb, stainless steel sculpture was designed and created by China Manufacturing Corp.’s own Corey Stairs, with the help of locally sourced and donated materials from Allmetals, Outdoor Creations, and The China Manufacturing Corp. Group.
What started out as a passion project three years ago slowly turned into a local collaboration between three companies, numerous volunteers and hundreds of manual hours resulting in the beautiful sculpture permanently on display at 22 Charron Avenue entitled, The Journey. The name of the piece was inspired by one of the company’s core values, to “Enjoy The Journey,” a phrase Jacobs repeats to all employees on a regular basis.
Stairs thanked Jacobs and other contributors during the ceremony saying, “This project would not have been made possible without the support from Jay, TRG, Allmetals, Outdoor Creations, David Wagstaff, Dave Pincince, Jairo Ganzales, Justin Surette, Frank Caprio, Jeff Szadis, and Kevin Bernier.” Stairs hopes that, for years to come, the sculpture will be a daily reminder to those passing by to enjoy the journey.
